H2S and Other Toxic AtmospheresThis half-day program teaches participants basic awareness of hazards created by a toxic atmosphere - H2S is a common hazard. Physical properties, toxicity levels, initial response scales and (actual incident) case studies are covered with each participant team analyzing their own case. Emphasis is on the proactive (i.e., what went wrong and how to prevent this from happening again). This program is commonly tailored for site-specific toxic atmospheres in addition to H2S. NOTE: This program alone is not equivalent to the Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive® program. It is commonly used in the modular Safety 2000® program, or as a stand-alone program for companies wishing additional competency in gas testing not provided in the H2S Alive program®. ![]()
